Description

Boddington's Berries is a third-generation strawberry specialist farm. In 2001 the current owner, Phil Boddington and his wife Louise, diversified to start making jam using the strawberries that were not accepted by the supermarkets. As the business continues to grow, they still continue to keep the same natural method, using only fruit, sugar and lemon juice to find a natural setting point, without the use of additives like pectin. This results in our preserves containing a very high fruit content, our Strawberry Conserve has 80g of strawberries in 100g of jam. Over the years Boddington's Berries have continued to grow their product range but they still continue to grow strawberries and produce their flagship product the Strawberry Conserve. However, they now also produce three other preserves: Raspberry, Blackberry and Orange Marmalade; a Strawberry Vinegar which can be drizzled over salads, game and fish; even ice cream if you are feeling adventurous! An Apple Chutney and a Red Onion Relish are both great with cheese and meats.
